The Pella Christian Eagles didn’t disappoint in the first post season game ever played at Pella Christian’s gym. The Eagles dismantled Iowa Valley 99-to-33 in a game that was over after the first quarter. The Eagles led 58/ten at halftime giving them a chance to play the backups for most of the second half. In facteveryone on the Pella Christian roster got into the game and all but one player scored. Cliff Warner led all scorers with 22 points and Eli Groenendyk scored 21. Kyle Nikkel had a great game off the bench with his 14 points as well. In this gameas has been the case all season longWarner showed his leadership both on the court and off. He was still vocal on the sidelines even on the bench well after the game had been decided. Head Coach Larry Hessing says leadership is what makes Warner such a great player. The Eagles will likely host their second straight post season game on Thursday.
