2009 was not a friendly year for Melcher-Dallas baseball, but 2010 could be very positive for the Saints. T-J Flesher is the lone senior this year for Melcher-Dallas, and a lot of talent returns next season. Ace of the pitching staff Robert Bingham will be a junior next season. Bingham showed why win-loss records for pitchers can be deceiving as he posted a four-and-eight record in 2009, but posted a 2.34 E-R-A this season and struck out an astounding 132 batters in only 82 innings. The junior-to-be also swung a good bat this season leading Melcher-Dallas in batting average at a 414 clip and was second in on-base and slugging percentages behind senior T-J Flesher.
