Pleasantville Baseball Loses 5 Quality Seniors

Pleasantville baseball will look to fill the shoes of five quality seniors next season, among those were first baseman/pitcher Brandon DeCook. The Trojans used DeCook in a number of spots in the top of the line-up and finished the season as the lead-off hitter for Pleasantville. Although not a typical lead-off hitter as a first baseman, DeCook provided the Trojans with a consistent, reliable bat at the top of the line-up as he lead Pleasantville in on-base percentage and runs scored, and was second in batting average. DeCook also had a record of 5-0 as a pitcher with a 2.85 ERA
