Agricultural properties in Marion County have recently seen a 48% increase in their 2009 assessed values, although 2009 values for business and residential properties overall have stayed the same. That’s according to Marion County Assessor Drew Sanders. He says although the assessed value for county Ag properties is up 48%, the rollback could fall in the 60% range, down from the around 93% rollback currently on agricultural properties in the county.
