A new scoreboard worth $10,000, refurbished buildings, and improvements to the old concession stand are some of the changes residents will see at Ken Locke Stadium in Knoxville this year. Pennie Sommar and Connie Husted with the Knoxville Save Our Stadium, or SOS, committee, encourage residents to help clean up the stadium August 26th before the football season kicks-off. They say residents should bring any brooms, rakes, dustpans and other cleaning gear between 5 and 5:30 p.m. that day, and to call 842-6451 or 842-4737 for more information.
