A Pella resident who pled guilty in July to embezzling over $29,000 from Leighton State Bank in Pella received a two-year deferred judgment at the Marion County Courthouse Friday. Court documents report Julie Ann Williams, a 39-year-old former bank employee, was placed on probation and ordered to pay $29,760.42 in restitution to Leighton State Bank, among other orders. If Williams fulfills her probation conditions, she will be discharged without entry of judgment, and her criminal record will be expunged.
