A Pleasantville resident won Best of Show and Sweepstakes honors in the Fabrics and Threads Machine Knitting competition judged prior to opening day of the 2009 Iowa State Fair. A spokesperson for the fair tells KNIA/KRLS News that Kathryn Hollingsworth received ribbons in all nine classes, including first prize in six of the nine categories.
