Pella swept first place at the Knoxville Cross Country Invitational. The boys were led overall by Zach Wittenberg, who finished second while the girls were led by Mariah Vande Lune who won the meet. Knoxville finished second in both the boys and girls races. The Panther girls were led by Jessica Fresh with a fifth place finish. Jamie Vander Veer and Alex Edwards were fourth and fifth respectively for the boys. Pella Christian was eighth for the girls as Michaela Martin led the Eagles with a 13th place finish. The boys finished fourth with Skyler Giddings coming home in seventh. Pleasantville finished ninth in the boys race, the Trojans were led by Bryan Koerselman in third place, the girls got a runner-up finish from Melcher-Dallas’s Delaney Jensen and picked up a fifth place team finish. Twin Cedars was not scored due to having an incomplete team however leading the way was Sierra Spaur in 46th place while the boys were led by Blane Kendall in 65th place.
