Gregg Bakker ended a season of bad luck by taking the checkered flag at the Knoxville Raceway Saturday night in the final 360 race of the season. Bakker grabbed the lead on a restart and won going away. Clint Garner finished second to put an exclamation point on his track championship. Dusty Zomer powered his way into the lead by lap ten of the 25 lap 410 A-Main and won the final race of the season. Johnny Herrera finished sixth but has already clinched the points championship by winning his heat race earlier in the evening. A scary moment for 360 driver Glen Hunt from Knoxville. Just as the checkered flag fell he hit the turn four fence nearly head on and demolished his car. Hunt was taken to Knoxville Hospital and Clinics and according to his crew he suffered a deep laceration to his neck.
