Central College forward Brett McKenzie scored the only goal the Dutch needed in the 10th minute of a 1-0 men’s soccer victory at Monmouth College yesterday. It was Central’s fourth 1-0 game in its last five outings of which they’ve won two. The Dutch outshot Monmouth 25-6 as they improved to 4-4 on the season. Central takes the weekend off before concluding its pre-Iowa Conference slate next Wednesday with a visit from Saint John’s University, another formidable Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference foe. Game time is 2 p.m. at the A.N. Kuyper Athletics Complex field.
