An Iowa author will make a visit to the Pella Public Library later this month to share stories from her book chronicling life on an Iowa dairy farm. Carol Bodensteiner is the author of Growing Up Country: Memories of an Iowa Farm Girl. The book includes stories on everything from driving a tractor for the first time to the excitement of attending the county fair. The public is invited to attend the event, which will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22nd at the Pella Public Library.
