The Pella Football team is just hours away from their Homecoming contest with Chariton, and the Little Dutch are very much looking forward to picking up their first district win. Head Coach Jay McKinstrey says that with all the hoopla that comes with Homecoming, it will be important for the team to be mentally prepared and eliminate mistakes. McKinstrey adds that taking care of the football and winning the field position battle will also be important. Tonight’s Homecoming match-up between Pella and Chariton kicks off at 7:30 p.m., with coverage of the game streamed live on kniakrls.com with Eric Gotschall and Randy Sikkema there for the call. A delayed broadcast will also be available at 11:00 p.m. on 92.1 KRLS.
