Saturday was an anxious day for many N-F-L players…as the final rosters for each team were trimmed to 53. Former P-C-M Mustang Brandon Myers survived the final cut, landing a roster spot with the Oakland Raiders. Myers was selected in the 6th round of this year’s N-F-L Draft out of the University Iowa and was considered a long shot to even be selected, much less make the team. That did not faze the former Hawkeye, who lead the Raiders in receptions in the preseason with nine and totaled 139 receiving yards and a touchdown. Myers signed a four year 1.84 million dollar deal before training camp and expected to be the second or third tight end behind starter Zach Miller.
