The Pella Police Department’s investigation of suspicious activity in two incidents involving vehicles and pedestrians has resulted in contact with two persons of interest. Pella Police Lieutenant John VanHaaften tells KNIA/KRLS News although each person admitted to the suspicious activity, neither activity involved an attempted child abduction. The investigation continues as to possible criminal charges. Citizens are encouraged to remain vigilant and to report suspicious activity to the Pella Police Department.
