Central College remains #8 in the American Football Coaches Association Division III poll. The Dutch are 5-0 overall and also ranked #9 in the D3football.com poll.

The Central football team also features some athletes whose numbers rank high on the national scene, including defensive lineman Shane Wong, who is tied for fifth in the country in sacks per game with 1.6. Teammate Aaron Steenhoek is not far behind, as he is tied for 29th in the nation with 1.1 sacks per contest.

Other notables include kick returner Mike Furlong, who ranks 18th in the nation with an average return of just over 29 yards; and Dutch running back David Zachary’s 113.6 yards per game average places him 25th among all Division III ball carriers.
