Central College can clinch its 48th winning college football season since 1960 with an Iowa Conference victory at Simpson College today, but standing in their way is a team that is unbeaten at home this season and hosting the Dutch for Homecoming. Central Coach Jeff McMartin is excited to take his unbeaten club into a hostile environment for Simpson’s homecoming this afternoon.

“I really like going on the road. I love the challenge of it, and I think it’s exciting to play in that type of an atmosphere and have the crowd against you,” McMartin says. “You want to do everything in your power to try and quiet them down and just play a great game.”

The Storm defeated Central 24-17 last season, but this time around the Dutch come in to Bill Buxton Stadium with a 5-0 record and a No. 9 ranking to defend. Simpson meanwhile is 2-3 overall and 1-2 in the conference. Kickoff from Indianola is slated for 1:00 p.m. with Trevor Castle there for the broadcast on 92.1 fm, KRLS. Coverage begins at 12:45 p.m.
