Some Knoxville High School students will be trick-or-treating this Friday during Beggar’s Night, but in a different style than normal. Rather than wearing costumes for candy, they’re soliciting donations for Helping Hands Food Pantry. This is a project that Knoxville high school student Katie Ayers started. She encourages residents interested in helping to meet at Celebrate Community Church in Knoxville at 5:45 p.m. Friday, where they will go trick-or-treating for canned goods, which will go to Helping Hands.
