Funeral services for Dorothy Alice Shives of Knoxville will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Bybee & Davis Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery.
Dorothy passed away on Friday, October 23, 2009 at Griffin Nursing & Rehabilitation Center at the age of 91 years, 5 months and 23 days. She is survived by her children, Ronald (Wilma) Shives of Knoxville, Kenneth (Barb) Shives of Pella, Karen (Ron) Jones of Knoxville, Harry Shives, Jr. (Alice) of Monroe, Roy (Pam) Shives of Bloomington, MN, Garry (Linda) Shives of Newton, Cheryl (James) Gale of Aurora, CO; 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin after 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
