Former Pella High School soccer standout Tressa Versteeg helped Macalester College to a 3-0 shutout win over Bethel this past weekend. Macalester was outshot 16-13 in the game including 6-3 in shots on net but Versteeg did her job at goal posting three saves for her fifth shutout of the year and improved her goals against average for the season to 0.85. Versteeg is a Junior for Macalester who currently sit at 7-2-2 overall and 3-1-1 in the Minnesota Conference.
