Area hospitals are limiting patient visitations to help prevent the spread of the flu. Pella Regional Health Center tells KNIA/KRLS News all visitors under 18 and people with flu-like symptoms are not allowed, and adult visitors are limited to two people at a time.

Knoxville Hospital & Clinics says visitors should not visit patients if they’ve had flu-like symptoms in the past week, and all visitors are required to wash hands or use sanitizer hand-gel when entering and exiting a patient’s room. Both Knoxville Hospital & Clinics and Pella Regional Health Center say visitors also might be required to wear a protective mask.
