Pella plays their final home volleyball match of the regular season tonight against Norwalk. The Lady Dutch saw their 28 match home win streak end Saturday with a loss to Mediapolis in the championship of the Pella Invitational and look to start another long home win streak tonight, on top of that a win will earn them the outright LHC championship and it’s also senior night. Coach Bob Fessler says this group of seniors has meant so much to the program the past four years and they really want to have a big night tonight for them:

“Our seniors have meant so much and done so much to build the tradition in our program so it’s going to be a fun night for them. It’s nice to know we only need one more win to win the LHC title, that’s been a goal of ours all season, but we still have to take care of business and play well and another goal of ours id to finish 7-0 in this conference”

Pella has one more conference match remaining after tonight as they head to Oskaloosa next Tuesday. A win tonight or Tuesday will earn them the conference title but Fessler says they not only want to win the LHC but they want to finish strong at 7-0. Pella is 29-5 on the season and 5-0 in the LHC. Action starts with the freshman and JV matches at 5:30pm with varsity to follow around 7:15pm.
