A three vehicle accident occurred Saturday at the intersection of Highway 163 and 195th Ave. 2 miles west of Pella. In all, nine persons were transported to Pella Regional Health Center for non-life threatening injuries. Eight of the nine were treated and released, and one person did require additional treatment. Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies, Pella Police Department, Iowa State Patrol, Monroe City Ambulance, and Pella Fire and Ambulance all responded to the scene. The accident still remains under investigation by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
