A program celebrating Wolf Appreciation Week will be held this weekend near Prairie City. “Unbroken: Survival, Instinct, and Spirit of the Wolf” is being presented by the Pella Wildlife Company and will feature a three-part multimedia program, along with a chance to view wolves, bison and elk.

The programs will start at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. and focus on separate topics. Several taxidermy pieces will also be on display. The wildlife program will be held on Saturday from 10:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m. at the Neal Smith National Wildlife Refuge, southwest of Prairie City on Pacific Street.
