Knoxville Girls Basketball Standout Sam Abens put pen to paper Saturday and made it official that she will play for Southwest Minnesota State next season. Abens says the style of play plus already knowing a few of the players who are from Iowa on the team made her decision a little easier. Abens adds her goals for herself in two years are to help the Mustangs win a conference championship and possibly a spot in the national tournament. Southwest Minnesota State is an N-C-A-A division two school located in Marshall, Minnesota and is a member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.
