Beginning December 15, the Marion County Clerk of Court Office on the third floor will be closed early to the public every Tuesday and Thursday at 2:30 p.m.  County Clerk of Court Carol Sage tells KNIA/KRLS News the reduced hours will give staff time to catch-up work missed during the ten scheduled furlough days this and next year.  The furlough days, the first of which is December 4, are among state-wide layoffs and other cost-cutting measures.
