Iowa Conference champion Central College landed 14 players on the all-league football squad. The Dutch had the most players selected of any conference school, including nine first-team selections. Just three of Central’s 14 picks are seniors. Seven are juniors and four are sophomores. Punter Kurtis Brondyke was named a first-team pick for the third straight year. Junior defensive lineman Shane Wong was also named to the first team. Other first team selections included running back David Zachary who ed the league in rushing, quarterback Nate Snead, wide receiver Jeremy Snead , offensive guard Andy Kneib, offensive tackle Joey Shoemaker, kicker Jake Viggers and kick returner Brett Wilkin. Named to the second team were Lee Schroeder , Cody Baethke , Brady Hill, Zach Van Arkel, and Greg Best. Kevin Good and A.J. Santon received honorable mention. Central claimed a record 30th Iowa Conference title and posted a 10-0 record for its 17th unbeaten regular season.
