Marion County Public Health will offer an H1N1 flu-shot clinic in Knoxville Thursday for high-priority residents. Public Health spokesperson Diane Ellis says the clinic will be Thursday in the Knoxville High School cafeteria from 6 to 9 p.m. or until the vaccines run out. The clinic includes pregnant women, those who care for children younger than six months old, children ages six months through four years of age, those five to eighteen years old with chronic medical conditions, and health care personnel with direct contact to any of these priority groups. Marion County Public Health staff members are prepared to ensure the clinic will run as efficiently and smoothly as possible. In the meantime, officials say residents should always cover their coughs, wash their hands, and stay home when sick.
