On Saturday, residents can help clean-up Lake Red Rock campground that’s being revived as Lake Red Rock’s first public site for primitive camping. A volunteer clean-up day for Hickory Ridge will be held Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. The project is a partnership between the Red Rock Lake Association, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation, and pledges are still needed. To pledge or for more information, call Anita at 515-288-1846.
