The Pella Memorial Building was one of four polling sites in Pella for City Council electionsThere will be no changes on the Pella City Council this election cycle following Tuesday’s state-wide city council elections. Incumbent Mark De Jong defeated two challengers in the only contested race on Pella’s ballot to earn re-election to his at-large council seat. Dan Vander Beek was re-elected to represent Ward 1 and Bruce Schiebout will return as well for another term representing Ward 3.
