Volunteers Spruce Up Hickory Ridge

Around 40 volunteers helped clean-up a Lake Red Rock campground last week that’s being revived as the area’s first public site for primitive camping, according to Jaime Gyolai with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Funeral Services for Gary Matice, age 67, of Pella, will be held Monday, November 30, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Pella. Interment will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery at Pella. Visitation will begin Sunday afternoon at the Van Dyk- Duven Funeral Home where the family will be present from 3-4:30 p.m. Memorials may be designated for the First Baptist Church in Pella.
