Pella Council Elections Feature One Contested Race

Tuesday’s City Council elections feature one contested race for a Pella City Council seat. Three candidates are on the ballot for an at-large seat currently held by Mark De Jong, who is seeking re-election. Daniel Spotten and David Vander Horst are the challengers in that race, while Ward 1 incumbent Dan Vander Beek and Ward 3 incumbent Bruce Schiebout are running unopposed.
