A 64 year-old woman involved in a two-vehicle car crash Thursday afternoon has passed away. Janice Ilene Comstock of Knoxville was driving a 2001 Saturn when she collided with a 2005 Chevrolet truck driven by 51 year-old Kevin K Rodgers, also of Knoxville. The accident happened one half mile west of G44 on Old Highway 92/T15. Rodgers was transported via Lifeflight of Des Moines to Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, where he was treated and released. Another unidentified passenger in Rodgers’s truck was transported to Knoxville Hospital and Clinic, and was treated and released. According to the Iowa State Patrol Comstock was driving west bound on Old Highway 92/T15 when she lost control and entered the west bound lane, striking the front of Rodgers’s truck.
