James J. Fitch of Knoxville has been transported to the Marion County Jail, after being held under the custody of the Des Moines VA Medical Center. Fitch is set to see a judge Wednesday morning where he will have his bond set. Fitch is charged with 2nd degree motor vehicle theft and eluding police after he allegedly stole a vehicle from the Knoxville 66 and led authorities on a high speed pursuit before being apprehended in the early morning hours of December 17th.
