Pella Police Lieutenant John VanHaaften says his office will be strictly enforcing the law regarding intoxicated drivers and encourages those who plan on consuming alcohol to find a designated driver. VanHaaften adds that the law is in place to keep people safe and says if there is any doubt that a person is below the legal limit to drive, then they should not get behind the wheel until it is safe to do so.
