Winter has arrived, and the Helping Hands Food Pantry in Knoxville says cereal, bedding, and canned goods are in high demand. Volunteers also say commonly-used household items are always needed to help those in need. Chuck Galeazzi, a volunteer at Helping Hands says that almost anything you have in your home would be fit to donate to Helping Hands, including refrigerators, kitchen appliances, and other items. He also says to make sure whatever you donate is in good, working condition.
