On Thursday employees at the Hormel Foods Plant in Knoxville participated in the 8th Annual KNIA/KRLS Food Drive by donating cash and non perishable food items at the Big Red Radio. Hormel spokesperson Troy Hawkshead says KNIA/KRLS brought out the Big Red Radio to the Hormel Foods parking lot from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday, where the employees’ donations went to help people in the Marion County area who are struggling to make ends meet. In addition, Hormel Foods presented a $500 check to the Food Bank to assist them in serving people throughout the area.
