The Pella Christian girls and boys are gearing up for another rivalry match up tomorrow night when they head to Oskaloosa for a LHC girl/boy doubleheader. The Eagle girls have been off since Monday when they fell to the defending Class 3A champions Ballard in a non conference game. Coach Kevin Van Maanen said even though they came up short they battled hard and he was very impressed with their aggressiveness and intensity and says that’s the kind of team they need to be all the time. Meanwhile the Eagle boys are 3-0 on the season after their impressive win over Class 3A 7TH ranked Ballard Monday. Coach Larry Hessing says the guys continue to improve as a unit every game and he’s been pleasantly surprised with some of the adjustments they’ve been able to make so far this season. The girls will tip off at 6:15pm tomorrow night followed by the boys and you can hear both games with Jamie Brockman and Wynne Veenstra on 92.1 FM KRLS and kniakrls.com starting at 6pm
