If you want to see the “Dutch Christmas in the Country” light display outside of Pella, then this is the final week to do it. Two-and-a-half acres decorated with over 55,000 lights on the John and Birdie DeVries farm will be lit for a few more nights this week before closing this season, and likely ending for good. Health issues have prompted the couple to consider ending the popular display after 18 seasons. The display is lit up nightly from 5:15 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at 669 210th Avenue, northwest of Pella.
