Unemployment data released Friday by Iowa Workforce Development showed the state’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate slightly increasing to 6.7 percent in November from October’s revised rate of 6.6 percent. Last month Marion County’s unemployment rate dropped to 5.3 percent, the lowest percentage the county had seen in 2009. National unemployment data for November shows ten percent of Americans are unemployed, down two-tenths of a percent from October.
