The Pella Christian boys have avery tough week coming out of the holiday break next week and if things go well, they could find themselves right back at the top of the Little Hawkeye Conference. The Eagles are currently 6-1 overall and tied for second in the LHC with Grinnell at 4-1. Pella and Norwalk are tied for the top spot in the league right now at 5-0. Pella Christian hosts Grinnell Tuesday night then travels to Norwalk Friday night. If the Eagles win both games that would put them right back in contention for the LHC title. Coach Larry Hessing says those are two huge games for the Eagles because it can either keep them in contention, or take them out of the hunt. He says they’ve made alot of progress over the holiday break and he expects them to come out and play strong next week. You can hear Tuesday’s game streamed live on kniakrls.com starting with the pregame at 6pm, then ctahc the delayed broadcast on 92.1 FM KRLS around 10pm. Friday’s game at Norwalk will be live on 92.1 FM KRLS starting at 6pm.
