Emergency personnel in Knoxville responded to a single vehicle accident just west of town Saturday morning. According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, the driver of an eastbound vehicle became drowsy and drifted into the guardrail of a bridge on Highway 92, one mile west of Knoxville at around 9:10 a.m. Saturday. The driver suffered minor scrapes and bruises, but was not transported to the hospital.

Assisting at the scene were the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Knoxville Rural Fire Department, Knoxville Rescue, and the Knoxville Police Department.
