Knoxville’s Parent Teacher Organizations will hold an Internet Safety Night for parents and guardians. The program will be led by Marion County Sheriff’s deputy Matt Boender and Knoxville Police Department Reserve Officer Sheldon Davids. The event is for parents, grandparents and guardians only and will touch on establishing rules for internet use, teaching children to not disclose personal information online, handling reactions to children viewing disturbing content and dealing with cyber bullying and online predators. The program will be held at Northstar Elementary on Thursday January 28th at 7pm.
