The Pella Christian girls basketball team had a higher scoring output in each quarter of play last night, as the Eagles put away Oskaloosa in the second half to secure a 58-34 victory. Pella Christian’s Jasmin Schelhaas had the hot hand on offense, as the sophomore tallied a game-high 17 points, while teammate Paige Zylstra nearly registered a double-double with 12 points and 9 rebounds. The win moves the Eagles above .500, as Pella Christian improves to 9-8 overall this season and 6-5 in the Little Hawkeye Conference. Up next is a trip to Newton Friday night to face the Cardinals.
