The Pella Community Foundation recently announced the recipients of the 2010 grant cycle. In all, 34 local non-profit organizations received a total of $50,000. The recipients were selected from 43 qualified applications requesting more than $80,000 for various projects. Individual grants ranged from $100 to $3,000, and also included a $6,000 block grant for the Council for Educational Excellence to supply “mini-grants” to local teachers.
