A Pella street project is among twenty-three transportation infrastructure projects in the state worth nearly $14 million combined that have been let by the Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT). The projects were announced Tuesday by Iowa Governor Chet Culver, and are funded in total or part through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, or as part of the I-JOBS Bridge Safety Fund. The accepted bid on the Pella street project came in at just over $280,000, and will include milling and asphalt resurfacing work on Oskaloosa Street.
