Safety Precautions Urged During Ice Fishing Season

As the temperatures return to more respectable January levels, more ice fishermen are heading out to their favorite fishing holes. Marion County Conservation Officer Ken Kenyon reminds fishermen to test the thickness of the ice in various places as you work your way out, and says telling someone where you’re going to be are both ways to be safe when ice fishing.
