The Knoxville School Board has confirmed that it will be difficult, if not impossible to sell the old junior high building. Superintendent Dr. Randy Flack spoke with local realtors to find out if there was a market for such a building in the area. He was told that especially with the restrictions the board would like to have on the building, and the asbestos problem, the consensus was that there was not a market for such a structure. Dr. Flack and the school board will continue to look into demolition options for the building and has a structural engineer coming to assess the situation in the future.
