Marion County residents have an opportunity to hear from former governor and 2010 hopeful Terry Branstand this afternoon. Branstad will be in Knoxville today as part of his Iowa Comeback Tour’s Town Hall meeting stops. The event is free and open to the public. Tim Albrecht, campaign Director of Communications says all are invited to attend as this will be a good chance for voters to come out and discuss things they find important in this year’s election. He adds that the campaign is focusing on job creation and the goal of adding 200,000 new jobs in the state of Iowa. Governor Branstad will be at the Coffee Connection this afternoon at 2:30pm.
