Former Governor Terry Branstad in KnoxvilleAround fifty area residents were at the Coffee Connection in Knoxville Thursday afternoon to hear from former governor and 2010 hopeful Terry Branstad. The town hall meeting was part of Branstad’s “Iowa Comeback Tour”. Branstad told attendees that once he prevails in the Republican primary that he plans to win the gubernatorial election and make some drastic changes in the state of Iowa. Attendees were also given a chance to ask Branstad questions about his position on several issues such as job creation, veterans benefits and balancing the state budget.
