The Central College men’s basketball has had several days to bask in the glow of their first Iowa Conference Title in 15 years, but don’t think the time off will make the Dutch soft. Head Coach Mike Boschee says even after locking up the title last Wednesday with a win over Loras, he still expects the team to continue to work hard as they close out the regular season schedule this week.

“I don’t I’m going to have to worry about that much. Our guys have usually been on the same page as me as far as the thought process and how to approach things,” said Boschee.

“I don’t I’ll have to remind them too much about what we still need to accomplish and what we need to work on. I’m pretty confident we’re in the right mindset still to continue to build on what we’ve already accomplished and see if we can’t do something a little more special.”

The Central men’s basketball team travels to Cedar Rapids tomorrow to face Coe College, before closing out the regular schedule with a home game against Cornell on Saturday. The Dutch are 19-4 overall and 12-2 in league play.
